Hello, my name is cristóbal arellano, and I am a 5th-year philosophy PhD candidate at Michigan State University.
My current research project focuses on Indigenous food sovereignty, food system sustainability, and post-capitalist urban food systems.
My dissertation explores the intersection of philosophy of science, Indigenous knowledge, and food sovereignty for urban Indigenous communities.
I am the co-chair and treasurer of the Michigan Aynoka Project (MAP), a Greater Lansing area 501 (c) (3) non-profit focused on, you guessed it, urban agroecology.
