About Me

Hello, my name is cristóbal arellano, and I am a philosophy PhD candidate at Michigan State University. 

My current research project focuses on food sovereignty and sustainability. 

My dissertation explores the intersection of philosophy of science, Indigenous knowledge, and food sovereignty in the Andes. 

I am the co-chair and treasurer of the Michigan Aynoka Project (MAP), a Greater Lansing area 501 (c) (3) non-profit focused on, you guessed it, urban agroecology.
