About Me

Hello, my name is cristóbal arellano, and I am a philosophy PhD candidate at Michigan State University. 

My current research project focuses on political agroecology and food sovereignty. 

My dissertation explores the intersection of philosophy of science, transdisciplinary methodological theory, and urban agroecology. 

I am also a founder and treasurer of the Michigan Aynoka Project (MAP), a Greater Lansing area 501 (c) (3) non-profit focused on, you guessed it, urban agroecology.
